My name is Rumi Kasuga. Last name is Kasuga, and first name is Rumi.
Kasuga（春日）means spring（春） and sun（日）. I don't know why my last name is such a incomprehensible name,but I like it.
Rumi（瑠美） means sapphire（瑠） and beauty（美）.
Although one of my friend Miharu（she is also your blog member!）has beauty（美） in her name, I'ts totally common putting this kanji in Japanese girls name.
Parents hope their children are going to be beautiful Japanese girl , and put that letter.

I love etymology (the study of names), so I think Japanese names are so interesting! I don't really know what my name (Christina) means. I've heard that it's Spanish for "stubborn" but other people say it means "Christian."
